Breaking: Manor takeover talks end in failure

It is with deep sadness that I have to report that we were informed earlier this evening that talks to save Manor Racing have ended with no resolution.

From the outset of the talks, it was made clear to us that unless CGF believed the team could make it to the grid in Melbourne, then no deal could take place.

We understand that CGF no longer believe this is possible and that without permission to miss races, the deal is now dead.

An official announcement will be issued to the press in Indonesia tomorrow.

The administrators have appointed a liquidation company to begin the selling off of assets and we understand they have already began the preparing dates/schedules for the sale.

We will offer as much details as we can soon but first and foremost, our thoughts are with all the staff at Banbury.
